I have an Atwood 4 gal gas only hotwater heater, 1997 vintage.
I had to pull it from rv to repair leak at water intake valve.
The unit sat face down on shop bench
until leak was repaired. After reinstalling, the water heater will not light, no pilot, no nothing. All other gas appliances work. I capped the gas line and valve when removing so hopefully nothing foreign would get in to system. Could having unit face down for a time cause valve not to work ? is there such thing as an air lock ? Thanks Anyone. |
