Water heater Chris 8-15-08
If your water heater needs replacement, consider going to an instant hot water heater. There is a company in Cincinnati that makes instant hot water heaters for RVs and boats. Their name is PrecisionTemp. Their heaters run on LPG for the standard heater and they also make hydronic heaters/water heaters for larger RVs. The standard instant hot water heater is a direct replacement for 6- and 10-gallon tank heaters. The hydronic heaters/water heaters for the larger coaches are smaller and lighter than Hydrohot/Aquahot, run on LPG and electric, are virtually noiseless and maintenance free. I installed their RV 500 in my motorhome in place of the old 6 gallon Attwood unit and am very pleased. My family and I can take as long of showers as we want and never run out of hot water. An added bonus, my LPG use has dropped 35-40%. I would highly recommend these to anybody who RVs. There web site is www.precisiontemp.com

We are full-timers. Can you keep this unit on all the time? We turn ours on and off to keep from dripping hot overflow on the outside of the rig. I'd sure like to sleep 20 minutes later every morning!
