Engine swap casey 8-5-08  
I have a 95 chevy blazer with a rod knock. i also have a 95 chevy pickup with an excellent running motor. both are 4x4. both are 4.3 vortec motor, but the pickup is a throttle body with a distributer cap. the blazer is fuel injected with ignition coils. ive been told all i have to do is swap the intake manifolds. but what about the ignition? do i need to change the computers? where do i stand? the entire drivetrain on the pickup is good. do i need to do a complete swap? any help would be greatly appreciated.

The engine should have a sensor where the distributor used to be. All is the same but the ditributor is remove but a timing sensor was installed to let the coils know when to fire. There should be something like that. Also, ensure that the pressure to the fuel rails is the same from the throttle bady to the fuel injectors.
