Rough running doug 7-20-08
I have a 1999 ranger supercab with 4.0 engine. Recently it will run rough like it is having trouble getting gas or out of timing. This happens a various times and for a short period. Plugs, wires, coil pack, #4 fuel injector and oxygen sensor have all been replaced. Code states #4 cylinder misfiring. Ford scoped it out and replaced oxygen sensor, everything else done by local mechanic that I trust. Today driving back from vacation the 4 wheel lites on the dash board for both high and low blinked off and on at various times, truck seemed to run okay, HELP!

OK; I'm a little confused here. Is the truck still running rough or is the problem the 4WD lights blinking? The controller for the 4WD system is completely seperate from the EFI wiring and set up.
