What are the advantages and disadvantages of towing?

Home > FAQs > RV Tow Vehicles

Post New Message add a FAQ

The biggest advantage in towing is having your tow vehicle to drive around in once you park your MotorHome. It can be a real hassle to drive your Motorhome where streets are narrow and parking is limited.

Disadvantages include:

  1. Increased length-harder to park and turn, more difficult to maneuver in traffic.
  2. Decrease in fuel mileage.
  3. Strain on driveline.
  4. Damage to tow vehicle from flying debris, rocks, etc.
